Meet Our Team

Our great team is committed to making your visit as pleasant and enjoyable as possible

Bryn_sqOriginally from Gore Bay, I have spent my life devoted to Manitoulin. After MSS I received my DDS from the University of Toronto in 1986. I spent a year as a dental intern at Toronto Western Hospital where I determined I wanted to return home to work as a Dental Surgeon on Manitoulin and realized that goal in 1992.

Married to Anne, we have two daughters and a grandson. I am the Past President of the Sudbury District Dental Society.

Sarah_sqAanii and hello, my name is Sarah and I have both the privilege of being aboriginal and a Haweater (born on Manitoulin.)

I have had the fortune of receiving 10 years of schooling right here with on the job training alongside Dr. Casson and the staff. With this kind of specific training, it has allowed me to be effective to our patient needs as well as a team member.

When the opportunity to learn and experience the dental field presented itself, I jumped at the opportunity to assist in a field that makes me feel like I have had a small hand in making a difference in our patient well being

Julia_sqMy name is Julia and I am proud to be a Registered Dental Hygienist with Casson Dentistry since May 2007. I belong to the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association and also the Sudbury Dental Hygiene Society.

I obtained my Bachelors’ of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry at Lake Superior State University. In 2003, I graduated with honors from the Dental Assistant Level 2 Program and in 2006 obtained my Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Cambrian College.

Dentistry, especially Oral Hygiene has always been a topic close to my heart. I love my job and I am proud to be a part of a great team here at Casson Dentistry. I strive to provide the highest quality of oral care for all patients. I am continually part taking in continuing education courses, attending conventions/conferences, etc. I care about your smile!

Julie-blueHi my name is Julie and I am excited to be part of the “Casson Family”.

Bringing with me over 26years customer service experience gained in a number of roles within the banking and finance world,  I seem to radiate toward Helping People.  It is when I am the happiest.

I am a member of the ODAA (Ontario Dental Assistant Association) working toward my Certified Dental Receptionist designation.  I embrace learning.

I am happily married and love the great outdoors, camping, enjoy good food with family and friends, and of course adore my Pets.

I look forward to seeing you here at your next visit.

Annie_sqHi! My name is Annie. I’m an avid collectibles collector; I play guitar and piano, and enjoy my family and friends. I have had 25 great years in field of dentistry and it has been very rewarding. I began my career in Gore Bay, untrained; after moving to Alberta, I attained my certification of a Level 2 Dental Assistant. I returned home to Manitoulin in 2005, as this is where my heart is.

Hello, Bonjour, my name is Lyette and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. Born in Sudbury, I have called Espanola home for almost 20 years. I am new to the Casson team having worked in Espanola and Sudbury for the last 12 years. I belong to the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association, Ontario Dental Hygiene Association and the Sudbury Dental Hygiene Society.
In 2004, I graduated with honours from 1he Dental Hygiene program at Cambrian College, after having completed the Dental Assisting Level I & II program in 2002. Dental hygiene is a second career for me having worked for a few years as a Child And Youth Worker previously. I became very interested in the dental field while undergoing orthodontic treatment. It was shortly after getting my braces off that I chose to return to school and become a hygienist. I love my job and am dedicated to providing my patients with the utmost of quality care in a gentle and relaxed manner. I look forward to working with you on your journey to optimal oral health.
I have three beautiful daughters, Hailey, Danica and Kailyn. These girls are my world and I enjoy spending any free time with them, whether it be playing sports (baseball, hockey, curling, golf) camping, travelling, playing board games or watching tv. Don’t get me wrong I love dentistry, but family and friends are definitely what is most important to me.
